I am lucky to remember playing in a band for the first time as an exhilarating experience, filled with a rush of adrenaline and creativity. The energy of the music, the thrill of teamwork, and the joy of expressing oneself come together in a magical moment. I couldn’t imagine that vibrant moment captured in an oil painting, every brushstroke reflecting the passion and camaraderie shared among bandmates. It would have been an unforgettable memory created on canvas for prosperity.  

Over 4 decades later and I discovered the joy of painting, so of course painting musical icons and heroes seemed very natural, along with meditative paintings.

Just like myself, most musicians never get that break, or maybe short on talent, either way, the experience and joy of playing music, or simply being part of a band is a very special thing.
